Breaking News: INEC website Hacked on Election Day

The website of the Independent National Electoral Commission has been hacked. The website is hacked by a group INEChackedthat parade itself as Nigerian Cyber Army. The hacking was confirmed by INEC on its Twitter handle, @inecnigeria
“We are aware of the recent hack of our @inecnigeria website, we are currently investigating this incident
#NigeriaDecides”

The Presidential Spokesman, Reuben Abati had said that the card reader is unable to capture President Goodluck’s Permanent Voters Card in Bayelsa whereas General Buhari’s Voter’s Card had no hitches at the polling station. There are speculations that the opposition could have something to do with the the technical and security breaches.

This is surely Nigeria’s most controversial election.
