Here are some comments:

Mu’azu would definitely use the position to cement the $20B theft and it will return NO CASE! Tukur’s son subsidy theft is a forgotten issue now.

Muazu was indicted by the Justice Niyi Tobi commission as one of the sponsors of 2001 religious crisis in Jos Plateau state.

While most people believe that the reign of President Goodluck Jonathan is friendly with corruption, others say that the president is only been democratic.

Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu replaced Mr. Tukur who was allegedly forced to resign.

PDP gets new chairman, new problem

Posted on

Nigeria’s ruling political party, Peoples Democratic Party led by President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed the former Governor of Bauchi State, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, as its new party chairman.   Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu is to take after the former chairman, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, whose resignation was announced by President Goodluck Jonathan   According to a report published today, 20th January 2014 in one of Nigeria’s national newspapers, Mu’azu was said to have been selected as the consensus candidate after a meeting between President Goodluck Jonathan and the governors of the party at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, yesterday.   At the meeting which was reported to have ended at 1:22 am this morning, it was revealed that majority of the governors in attendance had rejected the choice of Mohammed Wakil by the President and his wife, Patience lamenting on his alleged inability to carry people along when he was a principal officer of the House.

It is on record that in November 2013, barely two (2) months ago, President Goodluck Jonathan came under fire for nominating Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu as the Chairman of the Nigerian Pension Commission, PENCOM by The Transition Monitoring Group. “The Transition Monitoring Group, TMG, is astonished and peeved by this move of the President, especially in the light of the fact that the former Governor is yet to be cleared by the Economics and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, of the corruption charges he is facing for allegedly defrauding the coffers of Bauchi State to the tune of N19.8billion when he was Governor of the State,” the group said in a statement on Monday, 25th November 2013.   “This and other similar acts of Mr. President, particularly his penchant for surrounding himself with famed corrupt individuals, makes his government’s so-called anti-corruption efforts a laughing stock, for it is patently obvious from his antecedents that President Jonathan endorses corruption.

President Goodluck Jonathan may face another problem of explaining the choice Alhaji Adamu as the national chairman of PDP.

Komla Dumor-last words, lost war.

Posted on

Ghana born BBC TV presenter, Komla Afeke Dumor, 41 may have been a victim of bully at work which may have had very serious effects on his health. A lady who identified herself simply as Nana said: “After I read his last words on the social media network, I had no doubt that his rising fame was a threat to some of his colleagues who might have problems with the colour of his skin. The result of that was a frightening high blood pressure.”

Dumor died suddenly on 18 January 2014 in his London home after a cardiac arrest.

Below is the full unedited message that KomlImagea Afeke Dumor wrote on social media barely a week before his passing:

“God has been very good to me. Last year I experienced a lot of illness. My BP nearly gave me a stroke but I trod on. Waking up at 2am and heading to work. Exhausted sometimes..aching in my body and soul…mentally and emotionally drained, but I kept going.   I smiled for the camera..I volunteered for extra shifts..I showed respect to my colleagues from directors to security guards..I took a lot of jealousy driven vicious insults and backstabbing from petty people without reply..   I remain silent in my personal strife and misery..I kept smiling and pushing on to present better and to engage with my audience and increase my following..long days and frustrating times but I kept going..but I kept going..through the west gate mall coverage through the mandela funeral..even when illness had me collapsing, I delivered..today my boss, the head of Television called me for a one minute meeting..he said komla we have decided to make you the anchor presenter for our coverage of the world cup in Brazil..we shook hands and I left.   I looked to the sky and said thank you Lord for reminding that you are on my side.. The enemy will be scattered. Selah! Selah! Praise Him.. tomorrow is another day.”

Ghana-born Dumor was a presenter for BBC World News and its Focus on Africa programme.
